Masters in Pubic Health (MPH), Bachelor of Arts (BA) in African American Studies, and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Learned African American history, culture, health, and psychology. Focused on African American health and minored in psychology. She wanted to learn and understand herself and her people in order to treat African Americans to the best of her ability. Attained her Public Health degree from a Historically Black College/University (HBCU). She attended nursing school to add credentials and practical healthcare knowledge. She was determined to combine the two and make African American health a number one priority even if no one else will. Remember the saying goes, "an apple a day, keeps the doctor away"?
